Precision BI is a business intelligence consultancy based in Wellington, established in 2024. We work with businesses across New Zealand and Australia, mainly within the Microsoft data ecosystem.
Our purpose
Better decisions, built on data you can trust.
We design, build, improve and audit business intelligence and data solutions. Most of our clients are small and medium-sized enterprises; occasionally we take on larger engagements with bigger organisations that need a specialist for a defined piece of work, such as an audit, optimisation or migration.
In practice, our work comes down to three connected aims:
- Helping businesses get more value from their existing data and BI investments.
- Building and improving business intelligence solutions that support better decision-making.
- Making data more accessible, reliable, efficient and useful.

Dasha Fothergill
Dasha leads every client engagement, from solution design through to delivery, and manages any specialist contractors brought into a project.
His professional BI experience spans Power BI, Azure and Snowflake, ERP systems, inventory optimisation and operational reporting.

Precision OS is our own project management system. Every engagement is curated and managed through it: tasks, deliverables and responsibilities are set up before work starts, and the project overview is signed off there.
Its client portal gives you clear visibility of your project. If your own people are involved, they can be assigned tasks in Precision OS too, so everyone works from the same plan.
